Red Worm Fertilizing Products is located in Escondido, California. We sell red worms, worm castings, and worm tea. Our red worms are grown and packaged in approved organic compost. Our red worm castings have been reviewed by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) and have been approved to be used as an organic fertilizer and/or organic soil amendment for organic crops. Our red worm tea is all natural and all the ingredients in the tea are certified organic. The red worm tea is made to order with the customer specs in mind. We take the utmost care in producing, packaging and shipping the products. All our products are produced naturally and ready to use. |

Facts |

Red worms constantly till the soil around the root areas by their tireless burrowing. The burrows form the channels through which the root growth reach down into the subsoil for minerals and moisture. As the red worms burrow and feed, swallow great quantities of soil, digest it, extracts its food value and expel the residue as worm castings. Worm castings are five times richer in available nitrogen, seven times richer in available phosphates and eleven times richer in available potash than the upper six inches of soil. All these elements are water soluble and immediately available as plant foods. |
